Eligibility for Citizenship

Hello,

I checked the forum but I couldn't find a situation similar to mine. If you can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

I am a permanent resident. I have got my GC March 2009. I have been staying in US since then.. I went my country 15-20 days every year for vacation. I will be eligible applying a citizenship in December 2013.

I was hired a company last year and I have been working in this company almost 14 months now. They are planing to work on a project in Canada and send me as a supervisor . I don't want to miss this opportunity, but in the mean time I have some doubts about it.

If I go to Canada in February 2013 and start working there and coming back at least once in a month, would it disqualify me being a citizen of US? I know that staying out side of US more than six months would have some consequences, but I am not quite sure that if I go back and forth, it will start over this 6 months range? I will have rental apartment and lease on me since my girl friend remain living in it. I will still be paid in US. Basically, my question is do I have to present in US at least 6 months a year?

Since I don't want lose my chance of being a citizen of US, I am really doubtful and scared.

Could you please share your opinions and experiences with me?

Returning Green Card

Hello,
Hassan here.
I will like to ask that my father, my mother and my elder brother was in US since 1990 - 93 and become a Green Card Holder.
Then my family was not comfortable in US anymore, then they return back to Pakistan and be the resident from 1993 - 2013...
Now My father have 4 Childrens.
The problem is unfortunately my Father's, my mother's and my elder brother's Green Card is expired in 1999..
Now my father's brother is in USA and he want us there and we also become a US Resident again.
My point is "How we should Re-enter or become a US resident"??

Help me Please.!!
