I did my CP from Delhi on 6/24. Right now I am in India and can only come to US on first week of December. I have till 12/24 to enter US(according to the immigration visa). I am nervous about the delay. Will it cause any problem?

    Please help......

    Not Legal Advice:

As Long as you apply for entry to the US before the expiry date on the Visa you should have no problems.

      Re: After CP

While the visa is valid for 6 months, and you can enter anytime during the validity, there is at least one thing to consider:
The job offer still has to be valid at the time you become a PR, i.e., at the time you enter.
If you enter towards the end of the visa validity, the INS officer at the POE may question the continued validity of the job offer. Better have a new letter from the employer to confirm that the job still exists.
And, as always, there is never a guarantee that they let you in. A visa, even the IV, just allows you to *apply* for entry into the US. The officer at the POE actually makes the decision to admit you into the US. If any of the grounds of exclusion apply, e.g., communicable disease, you could be denied entry. In general, this is a rather remote possibility, but it has happened occasionally.
