What are my options?

I have GC for 4 years, and want to go to India for study and come back after 4 years. My parents will be in USA and they will get Citizenship in 2014. How to keep my GC live? Shall I apply for Re-Entry permit? what are other options do I have?

If you go to India to study, you will RESIDE in India - not in the US. Hence, not an LPR anymore. Try for a reentry permit, renew every hear. Good luck - may work or not.

And depending on your age & marital status after those four years, your parents, once they become US citizens, may apply for you as IR-2 - but you have to be single and < 21 years old.
