GC mail returned by post office ?!

I recently found out that my greencard was actually mailed to the address I specified, but mailed back by post office !!! Can anybody please tell me if I have to receive the actual greencard, the plastic one in person ? The mail address I used was my mother-in-law's and I was not there on the day it was arrived. If I call NCSC, can they mail it back and can my mother-in-law receive it for me ???

Now, why should the post office mail it back?? My wife is expecting her green card in the mail as well, and we use my mother's address and they sent out a letter to let us know that the card is on the way.

Anyway, you should contact them, and I think they will mail it back again. But the sooner the better!! don't wait too long, then it becomes another problem. Good luck!
