You can expect a visual review of your Green Card and passport history of prior entries/exits whenever you enter the U.S. If your reentries have been frequent or time outside the U.S. beyond six months, you might be questioned about your U.S. residency intentions and advised to obtain a Reentry Permit for future trips (to show "intent").

Normally, the prior entry/exit stamps in one's passport are the "red flags" for a possible revocation of one's Green Card.
If you renewed your passport and no longer have the earlier entry-exit stamps, I can't predict how your entry will be handled by the immigration staff.
Keep in mind, though, that if you are asked when you last exited the U.S., and you lie, you will have escalated your problem to the level of "providing false information to a Federal officer," which can result in a lifetime bar from reentry to the U.S.

If you've been outside for 2 years without a re-entry permit, you're out of luck unless you can qualify for a returning resident visa. If you're not asked at the border how long you were out, then you'll get caught if/when you apply for citizenship, or you are arrested and your status is reviewed in light of that. If you lie at the border, then you would be in even worse shape, and risk the lifetime ban mentioned if they choose to challenge your answer, or somehow review your status later.
