husband leaving US soon after I-551 stamp, is it a problem

I am the primary applicant (EB2). I and my husband had a successful CP in Chennai on Jan 30, 02 and I entered US on Feb 09, 02 via SFO.

My husband will be coming to US on MAr 26, 02. He is still working in India and will take a few months to finally move to US.

My question is, is it okay for him to leave say a week or so after entering US and say come back 2-3 months later?

Could somebody please help.

OK, no problem if less than 6 months (1 year is maximum without reentry permit).
