Error in Plaistic card

Folks,
I received my plastic card on 11th. But there is mis-spelling in my name. As per my understanding I have to go to the nearest INS, which is Neward and submit the I90 form along with my original Plastic card.

Can anybody comment on this?

Does anybody have a similar experience with the Newark,NJ office. How long does it take for a new card to arrive?

I am contemplating whether to do this or not, since the mis-spelling is not major, there is an extra letter in the middle (and it is not very obvious).

Do correct it. It should be free because it their fault.
It would take similarly to first time issuance. Download I90 and read the instructions.

I got the card through CP the first time. I got it in a month and a half from Texas processing center. Do u think it will take the same time?

It would be in VSC (I think you belong to VSC) time frame for cards. Its maybe ~4 months, but you will have to read many posts to get idea about that.
