Hi All, POE LA 9/23/01, card recd. 11/7/01. I recd Plastic card for my daughter.
Any idea when they will send card for me and my wife?

There is only one word to describe that: Miricle!
Most likely your daugters file was dropped on the floor and accidentally put back at the front of the pile.
As for yours - probably another 9 to 10 months. I entered on Sept 11th and probably wont see it until at least June 2002.
I am not even going to bother trying to get a replacement Social Security Card until it arrives. It's just too much hassle explainiung how slow the INS moves to people who have never been through it. -

P.S. I would recomend you buy a lottery ticket. It seems that you're charmed in some way so you may as well take advantage of it.Comment

Even I can't believe it. Maybe because there was no security check for 4 yr. old before generating card. Don't know....
Next few days or weeks will be full of excitement for me while opening my mail box. Maybe I also get my PC. While finger print they told to wait for 6-8 months.Comment

Don't get too excited. Like I said it's a miracle and they don't usually come in pairs.
The plastic is not processed on a first in first out basis.Comment

Received plastic card for my daughter today ie 11/10/2001.
POE- JFK New York
Date of entry- 07/07/2001.
Waiting for mine and wife's.
Checked two numbers before the SRC no of my daughter. The automated system says case approved. Hopefully will get other cards soon. Will post here when I get it.Comment
