Plastic card received: incorrect information

I received the card but it has an incorrect spelling of my first name. I called INS and was told to fill I-90 at the local INS office. The filling fee is $110. INS asked me to go in person to inquire when I asked that the error seems to be on the part of INS. My first name has 6 letters and it is printed with 7 letters on the card. That's the error.

I will go the local office and find out.

Any input?

I Talked to an INS officer and was informed that I will not have to pay since it was an error on INS part.

Wonder how the INS can make errors with a name like rockstar123!!

I asked you long back if we could call you rocky ........... you should have told the INS that too!!

I-90

I filed I-90 at the local INS office because of the incorrect name printed on the card. Am I going to receive a receipt from the Service Center? Or I have call in to find out my case number.

when submitting I-90...

Hi,

When submitting I-90, do they keep your incorrect GC? What is the time frame you expect to wait to receive your new corrected GC ?

I have to file a I-90 soon, thats the reason for asking.
