Quitting after gc stamping

I got my CP done and got the passport stamped at JFK a couple of weeks ago. Now I will have to leave my current company due to some circumstances...don't have a choice. I have read all the emails on this forum about this topic and, I think, understood the concept of "intent to stay with employer etc." and possibility of INS charging with fraud otherwise.

My question is, does anybody know of real examples of this "fraud case" wherein INS came-down on the candidate and cancelled their GC? Or, is everybody just talking about the possibilities?

Why don't you get a 'no objection' letter from your employer?

I know a few people that quit pretty quickly, and nothing happend to them (at least yet).
One quit after getting just one more paycheck.

Maybe you can get your self laid off?
