  • Plastic Cards for CP-Primary applicant on Hold ??

The dependents have six months time to enter US POE after completing CP interview.

If dependents arrive at a latter date.
Do immigration authorities at POE hold the file of primary applicants till the time dependants arrive so that Cards are printed together ?? OR they order the plastic cards seperately for each person as they arrive?

It makes sense that as one arrives he is being entered into the system, forms submitted etc. Otherwise they would need to have elaborate mechanism in place to hold ones forms until all his family arrives, and if they do not then submit them when 6 months expire.
    I don't know this for a fact.

It does not make sense to hold the papers of primary applicant till all the family members arrive. How do the INS will know which airport the dependents arrive? I think they will submit the papers of primary applicant as soon as one arrive. This is only my personal opinion.
      Thanks

I agree with you guys, Immigration authorities won't hold the papers of primary applicant at POE.

Let me put my question in this way
Can a primary applicant get his plastic card before spouse arrives in US. Say for e.g if Primary applicant comes back to POE in 15 days after CP interview and does his Finger print and 551 stamp at POE. The spouse stays back for five months.

In this scenario will the Primary applicant receive his card before spouse enters or INS will wait and print cards together for Primary and Secondary applicants.

Thanks cpdelin, One of my friend going for CP interview asked this question, due to family medical problems his spouse may stay back for a while.

In addition to what I posted before, I don't see why this is important, or are they just curious?
