Good afternoon. I have a stamp in passport which is defiantly can serve as a Green Card but when I try to apply for the Army, they don't recognize it and they require from me Plastic Green Card. I try to call to immigration but they still didn't answer on my question and if somebody has the same situation, please describe what you did in order to receive asap you plastic version.

The person at the army is definitely misinformed. The stamp in the passport is as good as the plastic one.
Unfortunately, if they still don't agree, you would have to wait for it to arrive.Immihelp Support

The I-551 stamp (annotation) in your passport is proof of Permanent Resident for one year, pending receipt of the Green Card. Since the stamp has a short-term expiration date and does not meet expectations of many people as proof of status, it's not something you can argue with anyone. Why don't you have the Green Card yet?
