Hi,

Can you please tell if someone gets green card and returned to home country.
In this situation what kind of risk and problems a person may face.. like re-entry or cancellation of green card after certain period?

If you have a Green Card and stay outside the U.S. for a hear or more without a Reentry Permit, or two years or more even if you have a Reentry Permit, you risk losing your Permanent Resident status.

How about if u got re entry permit

A Reentry permit will allow a Green Card holder to stay outside the U.S. up to two years.
