Is it necessary that my wife and I should enter USA together after CP ?. Can she enter later , say after month or so after my entry.

Yes she can. After you successful CP interview you and your wife will get manila color envelopes, pn which there will be a date written, by which both of you have to be back in the US. Your wife can join you later. I don't wanna speculate but I think it is 6 months.
