Green Card Questions??????

Hi Everyone,

I applied for a green card back in 2006 with my new wife (American Citizen) of two/three months being my sponsor. I was successful and received a conditional 2 Year green card. We moved back to the US with my wife and son and began a life there. After about 9 months to a year we realised that we couldn't do what we wanted to do (Send my wife back to university) and decided that the best bet was to move back to Australia put here through University there and move back when finished. Now has come the time to start the plans to make the move back to the US.

I'm assuming that I have abandoned my temporary green card and that I will have to apply for a new one? am I correct in saying this? Any help with the process will be great.

Your wife needs to submit a new I-130 petition, with supporting documents, and fee of $420 to start the process over for a spousal immigrant visa.

If you enter the U.S. with a visa waiver or B2 visa, and decide to stay, you can apply for a visa conversion with the I-130 and I-485 documents, and supporting documents with two fees, $420 and $1,070, and immigrant medical exam.
