Is refugee travel document required if already have my green card?

I have my green card through asylum. I'm wondering if refugee travel document is needed to travel abroad or can I just use my unexpired passport from my home country? For RTD I'd have pay few hundred dollars and wait few months so i was hoping to avoid that.

Your Green Card normally replaces use of a Refugee Travel Document.
