Hi,
My parent is currently in the process of getting an interview at the consulate for a green card, all paperwork is in order, and the file has been forwarded to the consulate. He currently has a valid B2 visa, we are wondering if he can travel to the U.S to visit us (for a week) while still waiting to get his interview, he will only come and visit. He is currently employed (more than 35 years at the same job) and has no intentions to live in the U.S. until his green card is processed, and has all the proper documentation to prove an established income/life in his home country.
Any advice is appreciated, thank you for your help!
