I applied to remove the conditions from my green card and they received my application in August of 2014.
I did my biometrics the following month.
My husband and I went to an interview to speak to an Officer May 2015. They requested more evidence of our marriage and we provided it to them.
I changed my address July 29th, 2015 on the USCIS website. I received my confirmation email stating they got my address change.
I didn't hear anything else from immigration or on the status of my case, so I made an Infopass appointment to see them on September 3, 2015. The officer there told me my petition was approved and they mailed it out. He told me the address it was mailed to, and it was my previous address. He told me I could get in contact with the post office, but the post office wasn't that helpful and told me it was most likely returned to sender.
I called immigration customer service and asked how I could be sure that it would be remailed to the correct address and she was very rude and told me, "We did our job. You will just have to wait and see." I asked to speak to second level customer service and she wouldn't send me over.
I've been waiting. But now I'm really upset because my extension is over and my work fired me because I can't prove that I'm allowed to live and work in this country.
What can I do? I even tried getting a hold of the people who live in my old apartment and they haven't received anything for me besides junk mail.
