Hi,
I applied for a renewal of Green Card in March 2005, because it was expiring. I received a letter from the INS in July 2005 saying that my Green Card has been issued. However, I never received the card.
When I called them, they said that the card may be lost in the mail and so I have to file an I-90 with reason b form, with the California centre as my file was processed there.
Can someone please tell me how long it takes for them to process the form, and how soon do they give an appointment date for biometrics etc?
Also, if I plan on travelling and my old Green Card expires, do I need to file any other kind of document?
