  • marrying a US citizen and adjustment of status

I was admited in the USA with F333 visa (child of a F31) and F31 is married child of a us citizen.

we entered the states with green card and later our green card was taken, told that we were ineligible, even though we had social securities etc...

few years later my father applied for asylum which was denied.

I was 11 when I came in the states, I am highly educated college and masters in health care.
recently I married a US citisen.

can my qife apply for me for green card so I dont leave the country?

    please advice.

What exactly do you mean by "green card was taken"?

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

      green card was vacated

green card was vacated because they said he/she was ineligible for that type of visa, they think bc their grand parent had passed away.

Were you ever given a notice to appear for removal proceedings? or rescission proceedings or something? I think if CBP took away your card on entry, they would usually initiate removal proceedings.

It's complicated because if you haven't been removed, then I believe you are still technically a permanent resident, and therefore may have trouble adjusting status.

my father the applied for asylum and my father was under removal proceedings, but I do work, have social and have no idea of my status, my name as a child back then is under my dad's case.
how can I know my status?
