  • Expired (2-yr) Conditional Green Card

Im looking for advice on what course to take.

My wife's 2-yr conditional green card is expired. Her kids 2-yr conditional green cards JUST expired. She NOW wants to (and has the financial means to) renew them.

Im wondering if I should go ahead and file the I-751's - (petition to remove conditions on g. card) and hope that they will be given even an immigration court hearing to explain themselves.
OR if I MUST start all over for all of them with the entirety of it.

things like - them having alien numbers and green cards - info that isn't granted to them until long in the process - makes me wonder. Anyone know the answers or have any ideas?

USCIS has broad discretion in accepting a I-751 filed late with good cause. Current policy recognizes financial difficulties as a good cause

You should file the applications to remove conditions as quickly as possible. Yes, if their applications are denied because they are untimely, they will have to adjust their status again
