  • I-751 assemble package?

    Hello there! Anyone from Houston?!

I hope someone can help me out. I need to start my process to remove conditions. Unfortunately, my attorney is booked for the next two months, and they cannot get me any appointment. I'm going to do all this by myself (no attorney), and I'm completely lost. I do not know how to assemble the package, I've been reading online about doing a cover letter and to state in the envelope the "reason of action" plus I do not know how to fill out the money order either (address, etc...). I have all my paperwork (proof) ready, I just need some help on how to send the correct package. I'm very nervous and getting paranoid at this point. Trying to get another attorney at this time is also a long wait for an appointment available and I don't want to run out of time. Thank you!

Since it's just one form, there isn't much to "assemble"; just the check, the form, a copy of your green card, and then various evidence of bona fide marriage.

It's preferable to write a personal check if possible instead of use a money order; that way you can know when it's cashed.

You generally don't need an attorney.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
