HI .. I would like to get some information. can some one keep usa PR and Canada PR at same time
spending most of the time in Canada. But will make short trip
with in 6 months stays 2 or 3 days and leave again will come back again with in 6 months ??

Is it allowed in law to keep Canada and USA PR status at the same time ??

You obviously cannot be in two places at the same time - so choose one and make that your home.

You can keep still keep both PR but if one country suspects you are not really behaving as a Permanent Resident (more like making the country as a vacation place where you visit once in a while), your privilege as a PR would be scrutinized and then revoked.

Thanks for ur reply and comments BUT as all v know if some one travelling abroad and spending or returning less than 6 months there is no such issue. if some one plans to away more than 6 months should apply reentry permit
but having PR from other country and applicant intent to return with in 6 months, STILL be consider as Resident ??
once some one is back with in 6 months spend 1 week in side and free to leave again up to next 6 months with out any issue ??
any one with more info plzzzz ....

What kind of answer are you hoping?

Do you really think PR for one country means "Spend one week here and come back again in 5 months time to spend another week before leaving again" ?

It seems like you do not like the reality that you are in - I BET NO ONE ELSE WILL SAY "Yeah do that, Canada and USA would like for someone to abuse their PR privileges ".

All the best in keeping both i suppose - once you are found out by border agency by both countries, you could lose both
