  • bringing a future spouse

    hello,
    my name is gal.
i am an lpr (dv lottery) for 3 years. i am currently leaving outside of the usa with re-entry permit that valid until nov 19.
i am in a long term relationship at my home country and planning on getting merried before i travel permanently to the states. my question is about my spouse, as the waiting period for spouses of lpr is very long. and if i dont wanna miss this opportunity of immigrating to the usa i have to do it in next year and i cant leave my future spouse behind to wait.
what is my options? what is better maybe, getting married in the states or at my home country? what is the smoothest way for us to do it?
or maybe the best option is to wait for naturalisation and that file the request for a spouse?
hope you guys have some advises for me from your experience.

whether you gain your Permanent residence and file or wait till you're a citizen and file you're looking at a long waiting period.
