Renewing Green Card/Driver's Licence.

I submitted my application to renew my green card this week. I went to renew my licence in NH and they stated I needed an I-1797 from USCIS that states that my residency has been extended for a year or eighteen months. They said USCIS will automatically send this. Does anyone know if they actually do send this? Obviously, asking USCIS is challenging!

I received a I-797 from USCIS 2 weeks after i sent my application to remove condition. it shown in the letter that my green card is extended for another 18 months. that letter is the one i showed to DMV and they be able to extens my drivers license for another 18 months.
