My question is regarding the requirements for maintenance of Green Card after it has been approved.
I sponsored my parents in 2005 and they returned back to India in February 2006 on an Advance Parole permit. Their Green Card was approved in April and I have mailed it to them in India. They would like to stay in India until next year and return to the US in summer 2007. After that they plan to spend 6 months a year in the U.S. as required to maintain the Green Card.
QUESTION: Do they need to file any documentation with the USCIS in order to stay in India until next year without losing their Green Card priveleges? I would appreciate any advice provided...
