Very very urgent regarding entry back

Hi,
We are GC holders and I have been out of US for close to 6 months and will be returning back shortly. My wife was out of US for 8 months last year and came to US for about 3 months and now is out of US for close to 6 months and wish to return back this week . we dont have Returning resident permit.

Is this ok that we are getting back before 6 months particularly for my wife? or will they deport her back at the entry point itself.

Pls advice as we are about to start to US in 2 days.

Not much to worry

I don't think it is a big issue. Trips within a year generally are not a problem. But it is always advisable to get Reentry permit if you want to stay more than a year or so. Please keep in mind, in most cases any stay more than 6 months out of US will break continuous residence rule for citizenship.

I agree with rchaware, since she hasn't been out of the country that long this year, it shouldn't be a problem (up to a year without re-entry permit is ok).
