Hi all,
I won a greencard. Because is still had to finish my university school and did not get a any job offers I stayed abroad and tried to retain my greencard by coming every half a year to the U.S. At the moment I still have a temporary job abroad and have applied for serveral jobs in the u.s.
The last time I entered the U.S. the Officer said i need to have a reentry permit with me, the next time I come to U.S. or I will lose the Card.
So I send my application to uscis but the Postal service didn't delivered it to uscis because of insufficient postage;( How stupid....I know. It was send back after a moth to my adress in the U.S and could be resend by some friends. According to the officer I need a reentry permit the next time I enter the U.S. but I only can apply for one, when in I am in the U.s. I guss i have a problem now.
My question is now, should i tell my friends that they should resend the package to uscis with a short explanation what happenend. I am not sure if that is smart, because I am out of the country at the moment and with this explanation they are maybe forced to reject it.
The second question is do a need detailed description or is it sufficient to fill the field explanation with "finishing studies"
I am really lost and dont know what to do
