LPR Traveling to Vietnam

Hello,

I am a permanent resident in U.S and have not become a U.S citizen. I would like to know what documents will be required for me to travel to vietnam and be able to return U.S as I currently have the green card and my nationality passport have already expired? Will I also need a reentry permit?

You need to renew your passport. You just need to carry your green card and passport. You don't need reentry permit unless you plan staying outside of the US for longer than 1 year.
