Dear Immihelp,
I just discovered your website and I was wondering if you may be able to provide us with some advise.
My wife is a current green card holder but we have been outside the US for the past four years
and we have returned once a year as required. The last time we entered we encountered a
secondary inspection. The officer advised us to get a reentry permit to make returning to the US
less troublesome.
On the application it states that the applicant needs to be present in the US at the time of applying.
That is our problem, we are not in the US but we would like to apply for the reentry permit.
Do you have any ideas, pearls of wisdom and/or advice that would helps us out?
