Dear Sir,
I want to ask about re-entry permits, because I read that I cannot apply for a permit from anyplace outside the U.S., only within the States.
I am applying for a two year re-entry permit because my husband, an American, teaches English as a Foreign Language abroad, usually for two years at a time. Do I have to apply from my current address, in Maui, or can I apply from anywhere in the States? We may be going to Seattle to visit friends before Japan, and thought we might send it from there. Would that be all right?
