Re-Entry Question

Hi,

A friend of mine has been out of the US for near 10 years despite having a green card. Is there any way for her to re-enter to the US without any problem?

What legal procedure she has to follow to re-enter to the USA?

He already has lost the greencard. He needs to apply all over again.
