Interesting Situation - Please help

Hi All,
I have an interetsing situation... I filed Form I-131 (Re-Entry permit) a few weeks back.

Now my personal situation has changed and I don't have to be in India for 2 years. So I am thinking of filing for citizenship (I have a GC for more than 5 years and meet all the eligibility requirements).

My questions is - Can I still file for citizenship even though I have already filed for re-entry permit?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

A follow up question - will i have to withdraw my I-131 or once it is approved, I can just return it to USCSI?
