  • Some questions on I-90

    Hi,

My wife's GC needs to be replaced due to incorrect information on it but we're not sure of some of the questions on the I-90.

    1) City of Residence where you applied for an Immigrant Visa or Adjustment of Status -> Is this the city which I was living in when I filed for the AOS?

    2) Consulate where Immigrant Visa was issued or USCIS office where status was Adjusted -> Is this the office where our AOS and GC was processed and issued?

    3) Date of Admission as an immigrant or Adjustment of Status -> We first entered the US with a L-visa but have traveled in and out of the US several times and the last time was with an Advance Parole. She has not left and entered the US since we've got our GC though. What date is this referring to?

    4) If you entered the U.S. with an Immigrant Visa, also complete the following:
Destination in U.S. at time of Admission -> Does this question applies to her?

A little background, as mentioned, we arrived in the US with L-visas and submitted th I-140 and I-485 while living in the US. We received the GC while living in the US as well. Had interview at a local USCIS office for biometrics, never had interview at an embassy.

Appreciate any help with these questions. Thanks!

A)Your resident city when you applied for her visa

    2) Consulate where Immigrant Visa was issued or USCIS office where status was Adjusted -> Is this the office where our AOS and GC was processed and issued?
A)yes, in your case the local office that processed your visa

    3) Date of Admission as an immigrant or Adjustment of Status -> We first entered the US with a L-visa but have traveled in and out of the US several times and the last time was with an Advance Parole. She has not left and entered the US since we've got our GC though. What date is this referring to?
    A) the first time she enterd the country as an "immigrant"-with her greencard. date of entry should be in the passport.

    4) If you entered the U.S. with an Immigrant Visa, also complete the following:
Destination in U.S. at time of Admission -> Does this question applies to her?
A)yes, where was she going when she first came to the counrty after she got the green card!

A little background, as mentioned, we arrived in the US with L-visas and submitted th I-140 and I-485 while living in the US. We received the GC while living in the US as well. Had interview at a local USCIS office for biometrics, never had interview at an embassy.

      I-90 form questions desperate

Hello I really need to get this thing done but dont know how to proceed, cant afford to make mistakes:

Here is the situation: it has been past the 60 days since i received the I-797c approval or welcome notice but when i called them they said they had already sent me my green card which i did not get it in the mail and they havent received it as yet as undeliveriable (so now stolen)
have asked me to file I-90 which i am currently doing it: but part 3 problems:

      1) date of admission as an immigrant or adjustment of status: is that the date when i got approved for my conditional green card: or the date when i got approved on the welcome letter.

2)if with immigrant visa: destination in the us at the time of admission: ???

      3) port of entry where admitted to US: ??????

I did go back home once with my conditional green card like 2 years back.

also do i need to do the biometrics again since i never got the card in the first place.

having a exceptionally bad week, month, so a little bit of assistance will be very helpful: (good sun gotta shine sometimes)

      thanks
      taz
