    I 551 stamp to return from India to US

    Hi
    My son got his I485 approved in Nov 2007 till now he did not get his GC. God knows why he didn't. This is despite several calls to USCIS.

    I got I551 stamped in his passport when he left for India in July 2008. Now I want to bring him to US. Can he enter without any problem? Can any one give any suggestions/ideas.

    AFAIK, he should be fine to enter US with his I-551 stamp without any problem.

      Thanks for your reply. Since he left in July 2008 and only will be returning in Apr 2009 will there be a problem?
