I am a Conditional Permanent Resident and returned to India one year back after getting Reentry Permit. Both my GC & RP are valid upto Dec 7, 2009. My US Citizen wife is going back to USA to file our jointly signed I-751 Application during the 90 days period starting from Sept. 7, 2009. I have to stay in India upto Dec. 31, 2009 to get my retirement on Dec. 31, 2009 from my Govt. Job. My Reentry Permit was issued on April 10, 2008.

Suppose my Application I-751 is accepted by the USCIS and we receive a I-797 notice of acceptance and my conditional resident status is automatically extended for one year upto Dec. 7, 2010. How should I apply for extension of my Rentry Permit for a full two years period ending on April 10, 2010 ? If the extension of reentry permit is not permitted, how i will be go back to USA after the expiry of both my Green Card and Reentry Permit after getting my retirement on Dec. 31, 2009 ?
