Dear Sir / Madam,
My mother's green card was expired in year 2008 and extended for one year as she has submitted an application for citizenship. At the back of her green card, it stated: "THE VALIDITY OF THIS CARD IS EXTENDED THROUGH THE MONTH AND YEAR INDICATED" - JULY 2009.
I am writing to ask whether I can take her out of town for vacation from 22 June to 7 July 2009. (FYI, the passport is good till end of year 2011)
Looking forward for your earliest reply as I need to issue flight ticket by next week
