The thing is I am working right now. I cant make a trip till September. So, if it is absolutely necesary that I enter de coutry before September I have to ask for a permit at work. Please help me. What will happen if my reentry permit expires on August and I enter the country on September. Will I be able to?

If you try to enter the US after your reentry permit expires, you may not be allowed to enter and you may lose green card as well.
