Hello team, I am writing to you because we have a unique situation. We are applying for a USA Green card for my mother and gathering required paperwork. Currently we are trying to obtain her Birth Certificate from a small village in Tamil Nadu. Her name in passport is different from her name in her School certificate. So her passport states Name A as her given name and Name B as her previously used names in one of the pages of her passport. Now when we are applying for her Birth Certificate, which name should we ask for it? Name A or Name B? Name A is the name she changed after marriage and she has lost the name change paperwork. Please help.
