I-131 Denied

I filed my I-131 application for reentry and mailed it from outside the US. I was unfortunately denied because of this (I know, I know).
I did complete my biometrics appointment before the final review, however.

I'm reapplying now (from within the US) but it would save me a lot of time and money to avoid flying back for the somewhat randomly scheduled biometrics appointment.
Does anyone know if they will consider recent biometrics data for new applications? (less than 6 months ago)

DHS will make you do biometrics as often as they feel like it.
