    Traveling with 18 months extension notice

    Hi guys,

    I just got my 18 months extension notice after I filed for removal of condition on my green card. I will like to know if it is necessary I get the I-551 stamp on my passport before I travel or I can just travel with the letter and my expired green card.

    You can just travel with the letter and the expired green card. That is the point of the letter.

      You can go to any local uscis office and get stamped on the passport. I did that last time.
