Immihelp,

I am a green card holder and now I applied for citizenship. The citizenship interview was completed and passed. Waiting for oath. Between oath and now, I am planning for a trip to india for 6 weeks. My concern, will I be stopped in re-entry because I am out of job for more than 1 year with Green card. But I had severance run for 6 months so I paid my salary taxes for 2009. This year, I am getting unemployment benefits now. Do you see issue with travelling? do you forsee any stoppage on reentry?

At this point I don't see risk becuase my wife is at job. Any body see issue? please see through your eyeccccccccccc

Just want to update:
Having spouse employed helped me to pass through entry. If any individual with out job and in greencard may or may not be at risk travelling outside US.
