Hello,
I obtained a GreenCard through my Wife and was granted a conditional permanent residency status for 2 years, the expiry date on the card was 06/04/2010. unfortunately i remember getting the card on 06/15/2008 and i had the impression that i had the time to apply in time, i realized the expiry date to be 06/04 and filed on 06/03 and sent it via next day Air, USCIS got the application on 06/04 which is also my green card expiry date. will USCIS still consider my application or will they start the process for removing my residency status effective immediately. Please advice. Can taking any legal assistance help with the situation if I am already considered Late.
I short would like to know if i need to file before my expiry date or if it includes the day of expiration too.
