If I give the IRS my bank information for the stimulus check will that cause problems later when removing greencard conditions or applying for citizenship?
I arrived late last year on a K1, received my greencard in February and got an SSN in March. So I haven’t paid taxes to the US yet.
I had assumed I was not eligible for a stimulus check but now looking at the information it looks like I am.
The IRS has a form to be filled that would let them send the money to our account. However I’m worried that this would cause issues later when removing greencard conditions or applying for citizenship.
I assume it’s okay seems they are automatically sending payments to most greencard holders who they have bank information for. I tried calling DHS for advice but I just get a message saying they aren’t available.Mobdro Kodi bluehost
