  • I-90 Replacement Processing Time

My original conditional card had a typographical error and both the "Card Expires" and "Resident Since" dates were backdated by a year. I submitted the I-90 application and here's the timeline:
    • June 6, 2019 - Received application (without erroneous card)
    • June 8, 2019 - Biometrics appointment scheduled
    • June 25, 2019 - Biometrics reviewed
    • May 21, 2020 - RFE for original card
    • June 10, 2020 - "We received the information we requested from you"

Any ideas as to how long it'll take hereon? Should I have submitted the card back when I filed the I-90? Would this delay it by another year?

Am I eligible to travel with a "pending I-90" letter? I'm a Canadian citizen and have a planned trip in July. If I travel with just my Canadian passport and I-90 receipt/case status and a copy of my Green Card, would that be okay? I tried getting an appointment for I-551 stamp but they're only doing emergency cases right now.

You should get an I-551 stamp. People have gotten I-551 stamps at emergency appointments, because as a permanent resident you are supposed to have proof of permanent residency.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
