Hi all. i have not been keeping up with the immigration news since Covid19.

Though I know USCIS is swamped with backlogs and needed at least $1billion to continue to operate.

Having said that, what is the realistic timing should one apply for I-131 re-entry permit right now?

Are ASCs open most places for biometrics?

It depends on where your I-131 is being processed. The National Benefits Center is showing between 4.5 and 6.5 months. Given the COVID backlog,, that is probably a very optimistic prediction. The Applicant Support Centers are slowly re-opening, most are this month I believe.

ASC's are open (lesser appointments than normal due to social distancing guidelines)
