  • I 751 removal of conditional green card

Hello guys, I need some advice. I apply for I 751 to potomac service center and my priority date is 09/02/2020 jointly with my husband. Right the marriage is not going well because of his infidelity. I really can't take this anymore. He is so unfaithful and immoral. He is messing around with a woman at his job (so dirty). I feel like giving up. I want to move out. what is the best advice for me? I really can not wait for 16.5 months.

If I were you,so far there is no physical battery,I will hang on. I think joint filing runs faster in process than waiver and divorce. Pray it comes quick and move immediately you get it. But, you have to consider your life and balance if he is going to come with you for interview incase they call for that.
I wish you luck. It's not an easy road.

thank you so much for your advice. That's what my mom told me to hang on. I'll continue praying. Don't want to do the divorce waiver. no physical harm just emotional. I hate when people are lying. He doesn't even know that I have a lot of proof like hotels, text messages and phone records.

You don't have to have suffered any harm to do Removal of Conditions by yourself on the basis of divorce.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

If the marriage won't work out, it's probably better to do the waiver. You don't have to re-do it from scratch, just let USCIS know and send proof of the divorce and they'll convert it. Just my opinion, but I think it'd be better for you to be out of the marriage that will end anyway. No point staying, as it doesn't prevent you from removing conditions.
