Got this today online...why is it taking so long to get my appointment? I didn't get any RFE's so fingers crossed...this is a divorce waiver!

Unfortunately, the I751 simply isn't a USCIS priority because you already have LPR status. Just get on with your life and the interview will come when it comes.

Easier said than done, my friend. I appreciate that, though! Hopeful that everything will be ok for me (my wife cheated and I divorced...I sent plenty of evidence that my marriage was bona-fide though).

Hey folks

751 (with waiver) interview is tomorrow morning at the Norfolk, VA Center. I’m really hoping everything will be okay. My wife and I separated and then divorced less than a year after I came here with my conditional greencard. I didn’t receive any RFE before my interview appointment, which I’m taking as a good thing. I sent pictures of us, messages from guys she was doing stuff with/warning messages sent to me …pics of her with another guy before we divorced…our joint lease agreement and insurance documentation, transactions between our bank accounts to/from each other. I also wrote a statement of why we separated and subsequently divorced (she basically just changed her mind, abandoned her marriage and said she wanted to do cannabis and see other people in an open relationship).

I really hope and pray everything will be okay and I’ll be upgraded to the 10-year card.

Any thoughts?

smp17 Best wishes on your interview tomorrow. Do not forget that the focus here is whether you entered the marriage in good faith. I am hoping you sent evidence of bona fide marriage since the date of your marriage. Make sure your evidence is organized chronologically and well organized. Focus on the joint finances, lease, joint bank account, lease. If any of those have changed, then I would bring updated documentation showing a new lease, your checking account without her.

smp17 Congratulations! I am glad to hear that it all worked out in your favor. Would you mind sharing more about your experience during the interview? Did it feel like the officer had their mind already made up when you went in?

@smp17,I am sure you will be scheduled. I got that notice June 1 and by June 3rd I was scheduled. waiting for the letter in the mail
