I751 Complete and Approved, Biometrics Months Later!?

Hello! Apologies if this is common knowledge, couldn't find it by searching.

My I751 Removal of Conditions petition was filed Oct 2020, and approved Mar 2021, and I received my new 10yr GC in April 2021. We were not asked to interview or provide biometrics or any additional info, and we were pretty surprised but happy that our I751 completed so quickly. Our online case status is "Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office". We are Nashville TN ASC.

Strangely, today (7/9/21 - 3+ months after receiving card), we received a I797C NoA that we have a biometrics appointment scheduled this month for the I751 petition. Is this common, to have biometrics after approval for I751? Should we just go to the appointment and not worry about it? Should we call USCIS Contact Center? Any other advice?

CONGRATULATIONS on your approval. This could be in error. I would recommend calling USCIS ask this question.. You can escalate to level 2 officer as sometimes the agents who answer the call do not have a lot of insight. What do you see on online case tracker?
If you are able to try making an info pass appointment as well to get this situated.

Our online case status is "Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office". It didn't flip back to a waiting for biometrics status or anything. From the online tools, Emma, and the automated call center assistant, that's the only information I can seem to get.

Tried calling this morning, unable to get thru the automated assistant maze and get to a human.

Looks like an error. Return a copy of that biometrics letter along with a copy of your green card to the address that is listed on that letter
