  • Emergency travel while conditional green card

    Hello.
    Could you please help me?

My problem is the following. I'm a US citizen and got married my fiance 6 months ago. She came to US with K1 visa and now she has a conditional green card. The things is, right now she needs urgent medical treatment ( she has breast cysts and because she doesn't have an insurance, she needs to travel abroad where she has an insurance.
I heard there is an emergency advance parole document, but some people say there is no guarantee that she will be granted a re-entry admission even with advance parole document.
What should we do in this situation? Is there any other solution or advance parole is the only one?

    Thank you.

The advance parole is for K1s when their 90 days is up, while they wait for the green card. Your wife has a green card, so she is free to travel in and out of the US with that. The conditional card makes her a resident. It just expires sooner than the 10 year card. She should return before being gone 1 year.
